Yes, this is really important. Data I have on my Computer is protected through a firewall and software that secures it from outside hacks. Other places your data is stored are the following:
SiteGround – is my host and email provider. Your email address and name attached will be stored there – they comply with the GDPR.
Dropbox – I use this to share files with you – they comply with the GDPR
Google Analytics – reads the demographics and gives me information about what pages are most interesting to my visitors, where the visitors come from (direct link, social media or a search engine), what device and browser they are using (gives me an idea for that programs I need to optimize my website) – they comply with the GDPR
