Drawing tutorials are one of the ways many artists share what they know.
It is a struggle to test everything by try and error. That’s why a lot of people want to take a shortcut. And what better way to do this than with Drawing Tutorials. I have a strong Idea of what makes up a good tutorial and what not. I want to learn something and not just draw along. Here is an example of my free fox drawing tutorial. So giving me some explanation why and how they do something gets some +++. While a plain ‘now this pencil, then do this’ get some —.
But where to find those?
Even for tech-savvy me, it is not always easy to find these things.
Sometimes they hide the link somewhere on their homepage.
Sometimes you can find them on one of the online selling platforms and often you don’t know where to look for it.
Do they deliver what they promise?
And this is the other important question!
I have had this happen a few times: Before buying a course I read the description to make sure this is what I am looking for. But often I end up disappointed because IT IS NOT.
Unless otherwise marked I paid for the courses myself.
I got Classes marked with a * for free to review. This does in NO WAY influence my article about it!
